Completed general projects

Lunds have been working with British Aerospace & THALES Training for the design and manufacture of the mechanical structures for cockpit simulator rigs (systems) through to complete aircraft simulator assemblies. We have also developed a range of brackets to interface with equipment used within the London Underground networks. Due to our purchase of GRS Engineering we have further expanded our customer base to include many new exciting projects.

	Honeywell Alarm Enclosure Since our investments in the latest CNC plant we have become far more competitive in large batch size production runs. We are now able to take on production overflow runs for companies like Notifier Honyewell who manufacture Fire Alarm systems for industrial and commercial use. These enclosures are supplied unfinished as they augment Notifiers production lines and are incorporated into the final product.
	Tintometer PFX Colour Analysers We have been producing Tintometer Colour Analyser casings for many years but feel the product deserves a showcase. The product analyses the properties of mainly oils, fats and derivatives and assigns colour values and spectral data. The sheet metalwork is easily produced by our modern plant and equipment and finished to a very high standard.
	The K-Alpha Cabinet An exciting new project brought in as a result of our take-over of GRS Engineering, the K-Alpha Cabinet is an X-ray photoelectron spectrometer designed and assembled by Thermo Fisher Scientific. The modern curved construction presented a few initial challenges for our production department but with the help and input of the existing GRS Staff, manufacture of the cabinet is now in full production.
	Dental Laboratory Workbench The assembly on the right is part of a laboratory setup for the dental profession. The exclusively designed sheet metal cabinets are set off by solid granite work tops for a safe and hygienic working area. Plenty of drawer storage allows quick access to equipment and inbuilt fume extraction meets all safety requirements. Another quality design manufactured by Lund Bros. & Co. Ltd.
	LCD Monitor Cover An LCD monitor cover manufactured for Cubic Transportation Systems from sheet steel for strength and painted with an instrument finish. The internal facing parts are plated with a zinc finish to allow good earthing properties. As this unit will be for displaying information in a public area, the controls are hidden by a hinged and lockable flap.
