Welcome
Situated in the heart of West Sussex, Sheet metal work and fabrication is at the
core of our well established company.
Specialising in enclosures, racks and cabinets for electronics and aerospace
industries our client list also extends to the transportation and defence industries.
Our latest ISO certificate
Following our audit from NQA we are pleased to announce that we have obtained our
latest ISO9001:2015 accreditation. This certificate (1706) covers us through to
February 2024.
As part of our quality system this certificate gives our customers confidence that
every sheet metal part that we produce will have been inspected to this high level.

Advanced assembly for flight simulation.
Lunds have been awarded the contract for the high level builds of the cockpit module
for a leading manufacturer of full flight simulators, L3 based in Crawley.
This involves the full mechanical assembly of the module, including wiring, the fire
suppression system and controls, structures and trim integration. This prepares the
cockpit module for integration to the motion system and the rear instructors cabin.
We have also helped to design and develop their new range of Fixed Training Devices
for both Airbus and Boeing variants.
Our new AMADA ENSIS - Rotary Index Laser.
We have exchanged our faithfull FOll Laser for a faster ENSIS Rotary Index Laser. This will
increase our output for both Sheet materials and for solid sections. The range of materials it is
able to cut is also expanded to include molybdenum, titanium and other more exotic
materials.
The ENSIS has a smaller carbon footprint than the FOll, it’s power consumption is 90% less
and there is no need for a CO2 assist gas.
Our new site at Goring
We have now an additional site at Goring near Worthing. Formally Chatsworth Forge,
our sister company ,we have decided to merge it under the Lunds brand. This has
expanded our welding capacity by adding three new welding bays. We are also
intending to install a 5 axis CNC Router that is due for delivery in September. This has
been primarily bought for the manufacture of wooden cockpits for our simulation
division. Any additional capacity will be used for local building contractors.
For enquiries please contact Alan Easey our Production Director who will be only too
pleased to help.
